This is no lighthearted movie, it’s packed with character driven drama and tension. The plot is rather depressing and dark; a brother commits suicide so his siblings return to their family home to mourn his death and patch up family matters. This movie sheds light on relationships and the strong bond of family. If you are in the mood for tense dialogue then this is a movie to watch.
2. Dr Foster
This is a 9 episode TV drama series that should be watched. Drama starts from the very beginning of Episode 1 where a woman suspects her husband of having an affair. It is a thoroughly compelling series exhibiting the consequences of couples trapped in a flawed relationship and actions they take to save it or completely end it, enduring guilt, passion, retribution and an unruly web of deceit and lies.

3. Secret Life of Pets
Cute animation if you feel like something fun and lighthearted. All the pets have their own individual characters with voices matched so well its captivating. All in all it’s set in the streets of New York, where the quiet simple life of a domestic terrier is turned upside down after his owner brings home a new mutt. You go on an adventure as the dogs find themselves battling it out in the city’s sewers and harsh city life.
This cleverly crafted animation includes humour for both adults and kids, messages about courage, teamwork and dangers of stereotypes. Vivid colours and attention to detail in the make of this movie is amazing. Watch out for the array of pop culture icons adapted to fit into the world of walking, talking, clothed animals.

An all female leading role movie , full of humour and relatable moments. Great movie to watch alone or with a group of friends as you follow the competition between the maid of honor and a bridesmaid. You will be quoting lines in no time!
6. Confessions of a Shopaholic
If you want some #inspo for some #ott outfit ideas, watch this film. If you are a shopaholic, watch this film. This film is goofy, entertaining yet charming as Rebecca Bloomwood struggles with her debilitating obsession with shopping and unintentionally lands a job at a financial magazine.
REALITY TV SERIES
7. Second Wives Club
Premiered in May 2017, this is an American reality television series that follows around several women who are, or soon to be, the second, third or fourth wives to successful business men. It is entertaining, as you are emerged into a materialistic world fuelled by an abundance of wealth and competition.
8. Terrace House Aloha State
Now this one is a bit hard to get your hands on if you don’t have access to Netflix, (dialogue is in Japanese; most links online do not have subtitles available yet) but it is greatly entertaining and definitely underrated. Set on the island of Oahu, six strangers share a roof where relationships build and conflicts unfold. If you want to watch something a little different, this is a good series to begin.
9. Don’t Breathe
A trio of thieves take part in a robbery of a house owned by a wealthy blind man hoping to walk out with a fortune but the blind man turns out to be more ruthless than he seems. This film literally has you on the edge of you seat with an unexpected twist at the end.
